Get to know Ashli
Let me start by telling you how grateful I am that you want to get to know a little about me. I'm not someone who enjoys talking about myself, but it's important for you to know that you can rely on me to provide you with the best possible portraits that meet your expectations. So, here's a bit about me.
First and foremost, I am a child of God and have devoted my life to serving my Lord and Savior. I am also a wife to an amazing man and a mother to six beautiful children. Additionally, I am a proud Mimi to an adorable little man.
I was born and raised in Oklahoma where I discovered my passion for photography. I successfully owned and operated two photography companies for ten years, one of which specialized in family photography. In 2019, I moved to Sanford, NC, and even though I was hesitant to reopen a company that I had successfully grown in Oklahoma, I eventually opened up for a few short months. Unfortunately, the pandemic made things more challenging, and like many small businesses, I had to close up shop until things cleared up. Before reopening, I realized that some changes needed to be made. After many months of careful consideration and planning, Simply Sweet Photography was born. I have since moved back to Oklahoma, my old "stomping grounds", and can't wait to reopen.
I am excited for new beginnings and new normals, and I can't wait to see all the new beautiful faces in this new chapter.
